A few bullet points about me
- Im 25 years old
- I have studied computer science and data science
- I started programming when I was around 13–14 years old
- I started reading business books around the same time
- I liked programming and startups but I also pushed myself to do it when I didn’t like it
- I made bunch of apps, websites, and other software products during high school which never got any attention
- I met so many people online who helped me a lot and never asked anything in return
- I had issue of giving up too quickly and the ideas I worked weren’t the best
- I wasn’t good at school
- I worked in two startups during my bachelor’s studies as a software engineer (I didn’t stay in that box but did other things as well)
- I finished my bachelor’s degree in 2 years
- I started working at Compound, YC backed startup, 2 months after I graduated
- I moved to Estonia
- I worked at Compound for 3 years
- I made so many good friends
- I helped one former college to build initial product for his startup which got backing from Sequoia and Koshla
- I visited SF the first time in October 2022
- My friend took me to the Founders inc office
- Seeing the Mythbuster’s workshop was my childhood dream come true
- I moved to Malta and worked 6 months in an online casino
- I have always enjoyed playing and studying poker
- After 3 years abroad, I came back to Finland
- I got a job from Peter Sarlin as a second employee in a startup called NestAI
- NestAI grew to 100 people in less than a year and the biggest news was 100 million Euros funding mainly from Nokia
- 2026 I started as a founding engineer at Elva
- I have got to see so much more closely how startups are built, how fundraising works, and what other founders are thinking
- I’m learning so much at the moment but I’m looking to start my own company at some point
- I occasionally have really bad FOMO when I see people leveraging AI in such a cool ways that could be built into products
